Guidelines for Students
- In case of any change in address / contact no, it is to be informed to the class teacher at the earliest.
- Students absent on a particular day, must state the reason for absence in the school diary, duly signed by their parents. In case of sickness, a proper medical certificate should be submitted.
- Students must communicate in English only, which is the medium of instruction of the school.
- Students must move from one place to another in an orderly manner.
- Students should line up properly to board the buses. They should not board or alight from a moving bus.
- No whistling, shouting or running in premises of the school is allowed.
- All students must take utmost care in keeping the campus clean. Dustbins are to be used for throwing waste materials.
- All students must bring only vegetarian dishes for tiffin. Non-vegetarian dishes are strictly prohibited.
- No student is allowed to scratch or spoil the benches/walls/library books or damage any school property. Any damage done will be made good by the concerned student. Besides, he/she will also be liable to punishment.
- Students who come to school on their own should arrive five minutes before the first bell to avoid congestion.
- Students are required to go straight back home after school.
Guidelines for Parents/Guardians
- All communications should be addressed to the Principal.
- Parents are requested to attend the PTM as per the calendar of the school as and when informed by the School.
- Parents are always welcome to put forth their positive suggestion/ complain for the improvement of the school.
- Parents must intimate the school in writing any change of address or telephone number. They also must ensure that the mobile number given for SMS alert is always functional.
- Parents are requested not to make any social or medical appointment during the school hours and avoid making requests for their ward to be released from school. Visitors or Parents are not allowed to meet any child during school hours or go upto the child's classrooms.
- Parents are requested to drop and pick up their wards from the bus stoppage on time.
- No phone calls or requests is entertained to talk to the child over phone. In case of emergency the message may be left at the school reception. It will be conveyed to the student through the reception of the school.
- Please do not send your ward with any valuables / ornaments / Mobile Phone or any electronic gadgets to school.
- Parents are requested to co-operate with school in its attempt to help in the progress of their ward(s) by paying attention to the regularity, punctuality, discipline and by taking interest in their performance in scholastic as well as co-scholastic activities.
- Parents are requested not to provide their wards with two wheelers as they are not eligible to drive.
Attendance
- In order to appear in the annual examination, it shall be the sole responsibility of parents/guardians to ensure that the students must have minimum 75% attendance every month. The monthly attendance record given in the diary must be acknowledged and duly signed by the parents/guardians.
- Students are not allowed to leave before the school hours are over except for the medical grounds.
- Out station leave is normally not granted. But in case of an emergency, parents/guardians may come personally with an application seeking leave for their wards.
- In case the child is sick and remains absent for two or more consecutive days he/she will have to produce medical certificate from a competent authority.
- No re-examination will be held for the students who remain absent during any of the examination or test.
- If a student remains absent for 6 days or more than that (consecutive absence) without prior information and sanction of leave, then his/ her name will be struck off the rolls, without serving any notice. He/ She will be allowed to attend classes only after re-admission with the permission of the Principal/Incharge as per the rule of the school.
- Attendance is compulsory on the last working day before every vacation and on the first working day after the vacation.
Discipline
- All students are supposed to come down for assembly in straight lines. During Shabad and Ardas, they should stand with bowed heads and folded hands. Sanctity of the assembly must be maintained. Nobody must stand with hands at the back or in pockets during prayer. Talking, ogling or any type of movement is not allowed during assembly.
- Students should not stand near the school gate without any purpose. As long as they are in their school uniform, they should not be found loitering around as they bear the name of the school. They are also not allowed to bring friends from outside without any reason.
- Students should be polite and remain disciplined wherever they go. They should always remember that their school is judged by their conduct. Good behaviour brings good name to the school.
- Students must be punctual. If they are late for the third time, they will not be allowed to attend classes.
- The school reserves the right, without assigning any reason to expell a student, if it is considered to be in the interest of the school. Bringing any undesirable articles (crackers, colours etc.) inside the school campus is strictly prohibited. If anybody is found with these things in the school then he/she will be expelled from the school.
